연사:안홍식(SUNY)11월15일(목) 제목:학부생을 위한 통계학 강의 초록: In the first part of this talk I will present possible career paths for graduates with a statistics degree. These careers fall into a number of general areas: Financial industry, Banking, Actuarial Sciences, Education, Research, Medical area and numerous other fields. There are also related, but seemingly unrelated professional areas. Prominent figures in each of these areas will be introduced. In the second part of the talk I will present a couple of research areas in biostatistics and their applications: Personalized medicine, and Clinical decision support system.
